MetroLink: Employers
MetroLink gives employers the opportunity to meet, interview and hire top candidates from the College of William & Mary, Duke University, Swarthmore College and Yale University in one convenient location. Juniors and seniors attend to interview for both full-time and internship positions. Public policy, think-tank, nonprofit and media organizations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are encouraged to attend.
Friday, February 15, 2013 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carnegie Endowment for International Peace 1779 Massachusetts Ave. NW Washington, D.C. 20036 Timeline: Jan. 4: Employer registrations are encouraged by this date, but registration remains open until the event Jan. 27: Student deadline to apply (11:59 p.m.) Jan. 31: Employer selections due by 5 p.m. Feb 1: Pre-select candidates begin signing up for interview slots (9 a.m.) Feb. 4: Alternate candidates are able to sign up for slots (9 a.m.) Feb. 6: Student deadline to select interview slots (5 p.m.) Feb. 11: Deadline for interview cancellations (5 p.m.) Candidate Profile: • Average SATs 1300-1400 • Competitive GPAs • Top 10 percent of graduating class • Demonstrated leadership skills • Academically and culturally diverse • Team-oriented • Effective critical thinking and analytical skills • Significant internship experience Registration The cost to attend is $300/schedule for business/for-profit and $150/schedule for nonprofits and government. Employers pre-select all candidates. There are 13 individual interview slots per schedule. Students are specifically targeting the Washington, D.C. area.
